UAHS Robotics
Thank you for your interest in the UAHS Robotics team!
Robotics enriches the educations of Upper Arlington students, and ensure they have the opportunities necessary to prepare them for the growing demand for technologically adept individuals. The Upper Arlington High School’s Robotics program encourages students to develop deeper interests in the areas of math and science; and in doing so, we are cultivating young minds to thrive in an increasingly technological world. Students work in groups of 4-5 to design, build, and implement, 15lb battlebots over a course of 10 weeks. This process fosters problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork.
We recently finished competing at the Fall 2017 XtremeBots competition. Two robots from Upper Arlington placed in the Top 16, against 30 other robots.
Our goal for the next season is to build on what we’ve learned this past fall to implement new design proposals, and improve upon our structural construction. We will be using software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and potentially Solidworks, to model and document our robot.

We are now looking for financial support to cover an estimated team cost of $4,000. By sponsoring us, we will be able to purchase the tools and resources necessary to construct a successful robot. Any amount, from $1 to $1,000, will be used by our team.
